Imagine Mountain Home partnered with the local community to create 4 Neighborhood Book Boxes, with more to come.

When you think of Neighborhood Book Boxes, your first thought probably goes to sharing books… Neighborhood Book Boxes are more than just quaint little boxes but a way to meet others within the community and share non-perishable items with their fellow neighbors.

Our hope is that Neighborhood Book Boxes will inspire the love of reading, provide opportunities to learn and meet someone new, and encourage appreciation for public art in Mountain Home. These humble book exchanges will help to enhance our neighborhoods and will provide our community with a space to express what is important to them.

HUGE THANK YOU to Imagine Mountain Home, a committee of Mountain Home Economic Development Department and the Chamber of Commerce, a well as special thanks to Ron Monasterio, City of Mountian Home Parks & Recreation, Patti Hamaishi, Candace Harrison, Brenda Raub’s art class, and Taunya Page’s drama class.

Neighborhood Book Boxes are currently located at the Chamber of Commerce Office, Railroad Park, Ridgecrest Park, and Silverstone Park.
