Rake Up Mountain Home will be Saturday, November 4th 2024. Teams start raking that morning at 9 am. We accept team applications from anyone in the community that wants to volunteer their time. Leaf bags are supplied for all teams and donated by A to Z Lumber. Teams must supply their own rakes. As far as homeowner applications, this is an event to help our elderly and/or disabled community members with raking their yards. To qualify, they must be at least 65 years old or disabled, live in Mountain Home, and reside at the stated residence they file an application for. Raking takes place only on the one day specified. Homeowners cannot ask for certain days. If the weather is really bad then teams will reschedule for the next day or a day during the following week but that has only happened to us once.

Team applications and homeowner applications will be available October 1st and are available on our Pioneer website, the Chamber office and the Library.

Spearheaded by Pioneer Federal Credit Union, the Chamber of Commerce serves as an application pick-up and drop-off location. These coordinated efforts focus on helping elderly and disabled homeowners with yard cleanup.
